Who we are
Data controller: Alp Yaşar (individual developer), Türkiye. Contact: support@chargechef.app.
Summary
ChargeChef does not require an account. We do not build user profiles, we do not sell data, and we do not use advertising or cross-app tracking. The app sends only what is needed to plan your trip (coordinates and search text) to the services listed below.

Our server
Our station database (Supabase) holds public charging-station data. Requests to it contain route coordinates only; we do not store user identifiers with them. Venue lookups to Google Places pass through our server, which caches results for up to 30 days keyed by location, never by user.
Third-party services
Mapbox (routing), Google (Places, Routes fallback), Apple Maps (place search on iOS), OpenStreetMap / Nominatim / OSRM, Open Charge Map, national charging registries, Open-Meteo (weather), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Sentry (crash reporting, when enabled). Each is governed by its own privacy policy. We send them no name, e-mail or identifier beyond what the platform itself requires.
Retention and your rights
We keep no personal profile to delete; removing the app deletes local data. Under GDPR and Turkish KVKK you may request access, correction or deletion of any personal data we might hold, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Write to support@chargechef.app.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 16 and does not knowingly collect their data.
